The session was conducted by Mr. Jobin Scaria from the Department of Business Administration (SF) and focused on developing the communication and speaking skills of students.

The programme aimed to provide students with an engaging and interactive learning experience that would help them improve their confidence, communication abilities, and public speaking skills.

Content of the Programme

The session consisted of several interactive activities and engaging sessions designed to encourage students to participate actively. Instead of being limited to a conventional lecture, the programme provided students with opportunities to communicate, interact, express their ideas, and participate in different activities.

The students were divided into six groups, which encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and active participation. The group activities provided students with an opportunity to interact with their peers while developing their speaking and communication skills in a comfortable and engaging environment.

The interactive nature of the programme helped students overcome hesitation and encouraged them to speak more confidently. Through the various activities, students were able to practise expressing their thoughts and ideas in front of others. The session also helped students understand the importance of effective communication in both academic and professional environments.

The programme included a friendly and participatory atmosphere where students actively involved themselves in the activities. At the end of the programme, the best-performing group was awarded, which added an element of motivation and healthy competition among the students.

The students responded positively to the programme and found the sessions interesting and useful. Many students felt that the activities helped them become more confident while speaking and communicating with others.

Conclusion

The Speak with Impact Skill Development Programme was an engaging and beneficial session for the students. The interactive activities provided students with a practical opportunity to improve their speaking skills, communication abilities, and confidence.

The division of students into six groups encouraged teamwork and active participation, while the group activities created a positive and enjoyable learning environment. The recognition of the best-performing group further motivated students to participate actively.

Overall, the students appreciated the programme and found it very helpful in improving their confidence and speaking skills. The session served as a valuable initiative for developing communication skills that can benefit students in their academic, personal, and future professional lives.
