The Domain Expertise Workshop held at II MCA on September 26, 2023, featured alumni speakers Mr. Tijo Antony and Mr. Amal Raj, who shared insights into the international banking industry and career opportunities within it. Mr. Antony, a Regulatory Reporting Specialist at UBS and Mr. Raj, a Senior DevOps Engineer at Deutsche Bank, discussed systemically important banks, investment banking functions, divisions, and career prospects. They emphasized the skills required for success in the industry and offered guidance on preparation for investment banking professions. The informative session left participants with a better understanding of this sector and the steps to enter it, making it a valuable event for aspiring finance professionals.

Outcome:

We got a clear idea about investment banking from the resource person who is well expertised in this sector.

The three-day web development workshop focusing on Django, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS was held from September 20th to September 23rd, 2023, at I MCA Classroom. The workshop aimed at providing participants with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in these essential web development technologies.

The workshop began with a comprehensive introduction to the Django web framework. The instructor explained the core concepts of Django, including models, views, templates, and URLs. Participants learned how to set up a Django project, create models, and build basic views.

The three-day workshop on Django, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS was a resounding success, equipping participants with the foundational skills needed for web development. It fostered a dynamic learning atmosphere, and attendees left with practical knowledge and the confidence to apply these technologies in their projects.

 Tour to Dandeli and Goa would provide a diverse and enriching experience, as both places offer unique aspects of culture, environment, and tourism.

Dandeli, located in the Western Ghats, is a prime example of sustainable ecotourism. Our visit to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary highlighted the efforts to conserve the region's rich biodiversity. Dandeli is renowned for adventure activities such as river rafting, trekking, and wildlife safaris. We participated in these activities, gaining firsthand experience of adventure tourism's potential for local economic development.

In Goa, we observed the consequences of mass tourism on the environment, local communities, and culture. Visits to crowded beaches, bustling markets, and overdeveloped areas illustrated the challenges of balancing economic growth with environmental preservation.
