Problem Solving Session on Python

Date: 11 & 12 June 2026
Time: 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM
Venue: MCA Classroom
Resource Person: Ms. Juhy Liz Raja

The PG Department of Computer Applications, Marian College Kuttikkanam, organized a two-day Problem Solving and Interactive Session on Python on 11 and 12 June 2026 as part of the Placement Training Program for MCA students. The session was led by Ms. Juhy Liz Raja, a Consultant Trainer with extensive experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Structures and Algorithms, and programming languages.

The training focused on strengthening students’ programming fundamentals, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills required for placement examinations and technical interviews. Students actively participated in concept discussions, MCQ practice sessions, and coding exercises covering array-based problems, mathematical logic, and placement-oriented programming challenges.

On the second day, students worked on advanced coding scenarios and real-world logical problems, including rank monitoring, monkey and banana problems, and candy jar management. The interactive sessions encouraged students to explore multiple solution approaches and develop efficient Python programs.

The resource person’s practical teaching methodology, continuous guidance, and focus on interview-oriented coding techniques helped students improve their analytical thinking, coding proficiency, and confidence. The two-day program proved to be highly engaging and beneficial, contributing significantly to the students’ technical development and placement readiness.
