Report on the Sahya Fest 2026

As part of Sahaya’26, the intercollegiate fest of Marian College (Autonomous), Kuttikkanam, themed the PG Department of Computer Applications (MCA) successfully organized and conducted three flagship technical events CYFUSION, CYDATA, and TITANIUM STRIKE ARENA under the superhero theme “CYBORG”.

These events were conceptualized to reflect the Cyborg theme by integrating technology, creativity, data intelligence, and strategic digital skills, thereby providing a competitive platform for students to demonstrate innovation, analytical thinking, teamwork, and professional competence. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from multiple institutions, ensuring strong intercollegiate engagement.


CYFUSION (Group Event) : Frontend Design & Product Pitching Competition

Date: 9 January 2026

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Venue: MCA 1 Classroom



CYFUSION was a multidimensional competition focused on frontend development, digital marketing creativity, and entrepreneurial pitching. A total of 13 teams, with four members each, registered for the event.



The central theme challenged participants to design a digital solution addressing real-world problems in India while aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To maintain originality, topics were finalized through a Google Form on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring no duplication of problem statements.

Round 1: Frontend Development

Participants developed a functional frontend interface using the VibeCode platform, emphasizing technical logic, UI/UX design, and SDG alignment.

Round 2: Promo Video (Digital Submission)

Teams created a 45–90 second promotional video, shot exclusively on the Marian College campus, showcasing their product creatively.

Final Round: Product Pitch Presentation

Five shortlisted teams delivered professional-level pitches, presenting their solutions as market-ready digital products.

CYDATA (Individual Event) : Data Analytics & Dashboard Competition

MCA 2 Classroom

CYDATA was a data-centric technical competition aimed at strengthening students’ practical skills in data preprocessing, dashboard creation, and analytical presentation.

A total of 32 students registered, with 21 active participants from three institutions.

Round 1: Data Preprocessing & Dashboard Creation

Participants worked on a scenario-based dataset, performing preprocessing and developing dashboards within a structured time frame.



Judges: Mr. Satheesh Kumar and Mrs. Kochumol Abraham

Round 2: Dashboard Presentation

Six shortlisted participants presented their dashboards, explaining data handling methods, insights, and visualization logic.

TITANIUM STRIKE ARENA (Online Event – Group)

Online BGMI Tournament

Date: 5 January 2026

Time: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Mode: Online



Titanium Strike Arena 2026 was an online esports tournament conducted in a professional BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) format. The event aimed to promote strategic thinking, teamwork, leadership, and competitive sportsmanship.

A total of 13 teams, each with four players, participated.

Match Structure:

The tournament was conducted in three rounds, each lasting one hour. Registered teams competed across the following competitive maps:

  • Erangel
  • Sanhok
  • Miramar
  • Scoring System
  • Placement Points + Kill Points

Each kill earned 1 point, rewarding both survival and aggressive gameplay.

Prize Distribution and Certification

The official Prize Distribution Ceremony for Sahaya ’26 was conducted as part of the Grand Award Ceremony, marking the formal conclusion of the MCA Department events. Cash prizes and merit certificates were awarded to all winners and runners-up of CYFUSION and CYDATA in recognition of their outstanding performance and excellence.

For the online event, Titanium Strike Arena, the cash prizes and certificates were distributed and sent to the respective winning teams through appropriate channels after the completion of the tournament.

Additionally, participation certificates were distributed to all remaining participants of the offline events, acknowledging their active involvement, effort, and contribution to the success of the competitions.

Conclusion and Acknowledgments

The successful organization of CYFUSION, CYDATA, and TITANIUM STRIKE ARENA under Sahaya’26 reflects the PG Department of Computer Applications’ commitment to academic excellence, technological innovation, and holistic student development.

These events collectively showcased the CYBORG theme by blending coding, data intelligence, creativity, entrepreneurship, and digital gaming strategy, providing participants with real-world exposure and professional learning experiences.
