he Inauguration and PTA Meeting for the newly admitted MCA, MCMS, and MHTM batches (2026–2028) was held on 6 July 2026 at the MAGIS Mini Auditorium, Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous). The programme, coordinated by the PG Department of Computer Applications, welcomed students and parents to the institution and introduced them to its academic environment, values, and support systems.

The inaugural function began with a welcome dance by MCA students, followed by a prayer song. Dr. Lumy Joseph delivered the welcome address. The presidential address was given by Prof. Dr. Ajimon George, while the inaugural address was delivered by Very Rev. Fr. Boby Alex Mannamplackal. The programme also included the traditional lighting of the lamp, an administrator's message by Rev. Fr. Thomas Abraham, a session on hostel guidelines and discipline by Fr. Dr. Shaiju K S, and a vote of thanks by Dr. Joby Cyriac.
Following the common session, the MCA Department conducted a departmental orientation led by Dr. Mendus Jacob. He introduced the faculty, explained the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, academic regulations, examinations, internships, project work, and placement support. An interactive session with parents addressed queries regarding academics and student welfare, followed by the election of the PTA Executive Committee.
The programme concluded with positive interactions among faculty, students, and parents, providing the newly admitted MCA students with a confident and inspiring start to their postgraduate journey
