 FRESHERS' DAY PROGRAMME – MCA 2026–2028 BATCH

The PG Department of Computer Applications, Marian College Kuttikkanam Autonomous, organized a Freshers' Day Programme for the newly joined MCA 2026–2028 batch on 02  September 2026 at the Main Auditorium. The programme was organized to warmly welcome the new students to the department and provide them with an opportunity to interact with their classmates, seniors, and faculty members in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

The programme was designed as an interactive and entertaining session featuring a variety of games, activities, and fun-filled tasks. The activities encouraged students to participate actively, interact with one another, and build new friendships. Different individual and group-based games were conducted, providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their communication skills, creativity, teamwork, confidence, and spontaneity.

The event created a lively atmosphere among the students, with participants enthusiastically taking part in the various games and challenges. The tasks were planned to encourage interaction among students and help the new batch become more comfortable with their peers. 

The activities also provided an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and enjoy their first major social gathering as members of the MCA programme. 

The programme successfully promoted team spirit, friendship, communication, and active participation among the MCA 2026–2028 batch. The informal and engaging nature of the event helped the newly joined students feel welcomed and become familiar with the department and their classmates.

 

The Freshers' Day Programme concluded on a positive and memorable note, leaving the students with an enjoyable first experience of their MCA journey. The event served as an effective platform for building camaraderie among the new batch and creating a welcoming environment within the PG Department of Computer Applications.
