Exploring Identities: Understanding Self, Others, and Our Institutional Roles

 Date : 25 July 2024

Batch : IMCA

Resource Person : Fr Binny

On 25th July 2024, an orientation class was conducted by Fr. Binny Kaiyaniyil on the topic "Exploring Identities: Understanding Self, Others, and Our Institutional Roles" at Marian Collage, Kuttikkanam. The session aimed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of their own identities, the identities of others, and the roles each person plays within the institution.

Fr. Binny began the session by welcoming the participants and introducing the topic. The session started with an intersting question “Who Are You”. He emphasised the importance of self-awareness and understanding in creating a harmonious and productive institutional environment. The first part of the session focused on self-exploration. Father Binny encouraged participants to reflect on their own identities, values, and beliefs. He provided several thought-provoking questions to guide this reflection, such as:

Think about who are you?

How can a person change and grow?

And nourishing ourself with our expectations as wish not must

The orientation class concluded with an open forum where participants could ask questions and share their thoughts on the session. Father Binny thanked everyone for their active participation and reiterated the importance of ongoing self-reflection and empathy in both personal and institutional growth.
