Date: 27,28 and 29 July 2024

Batch: IMCA(2024-26)

The Creative Studio workshop is an intensive 56-hour program designed to enhance creativity through a rigorous and continuous approach. This workshop aimed to push the boundaries of traditional creativity exercises by integrating a series of challenges, collaborative activities, and skill-building sessions over an extended period. The goal was to unlock new levels of creative thinking and problem-solving among participants.

On the first day of the Creative Studio workshop, participants attended a focused 4-hour orientation session conducted by Dr. Robin Mathew, a distinguished trainer and teacher from St. Agnes High School. This session was designed to provide essential insights into interview preparation, covering critical areas such as attitude, aptitude, creativity, and communication. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, developing problem-solving skills, and enhancing communication techniques.

Following this, Mr. Krishnaraj S, a master trainer from the ICT Academy of Kerala, conducted a dynamic activity session. Mr. Krishnaraj introduced five innovative tasks that included a short film based on ‘Life at Marian’, an AI generated video on social issue, a voice skit based on social Issue and presentation based on the experience of the participants, designed to further develop the participants' creativity. These tasks were crafted to challenge conventional thinking and encourage out-of-the-box problem-solving. His session aimed to build on the foundational skills introduced earlier by stimulating participants' creative abilities and promoting hands-on learning.

Participants in a 56-hour long workshop face several challenges such as fatigue, time management, attention span issues, information overload, and health concerns due to prolonged sitting and insufficient breaks. They may also struggle with maintaining motivation, dealing with technical difficulties, managing group dynamics, ensuring proper nutrition, and coping with sleep deprivation and stress. Environmental factors like uncomfortable seating and poor lighting can further impact the experience. However, these workshops also offer significant positives, including the opportunity for intensive learning, deep engagement with the material, networking with peers, and the potential for personal and professional growth. The immersive environment can foster creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of accomplishment upon completion.

In conclusion, the 56-hour Creative Studio Workshop provided an extraordinary opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in a dynamic and creative environment. Despite the intensity, participants rose to the challenge, demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm. They engaged deeply with the material, fostering innovation and collaboration. The workshop facilitated valuable networking, skill development, and personal growth, culminating in a profound sense of accomplishment. The experience was transformative, equipping participants with new insights and a strengthened professional outlook, making the workshop an outstanding success.
